The first phase investment was one of them to establish a second assembly plant in Karawang, West Java, which are now starting to assemble Vios for domestic needs and export. Toyota predicted to make Indonesia as the world's largest export base. Until now, Toyota Indonesia managed to export about 200,000 units of cars. Toyota models in exports was Fortuner, Innova, Avanza, Vios, Yaris, and Agya. Most of the Toyota car export destination is sent to the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, the Pacific Islands, and ASEAN.
